Originally introduced to Aotearoa as a caged bird, Spotted Doves (Spilopelia chinensis) are now found in parks and rural areas of Auckland. Featuring delicately dotted plumage, this dove is the product of natural death, and a beautifully preserved piece. Mounted on a round wooden base.
